I feel you. Don’t be hopeless. Requesting photocopies of passport pages is a good sign. It means they’re working on your application, and the process of your application is going forward. It’s pretty much routine these days to request for passport pages. I’m pretty sure after sending the photocopies, you’ll hear good news from their side. Hang on buddy. Good news is on the way…

Not necessarily A friend of mine sent her application same day as me and got requested the passport photocopies back in May and she hasn’t heard back anything since then! No interview, No update on tracker, no oath date nothing just pure silence! That’s what got me so worried that it might take longer for them to process my application I hope you’re right though

Yes I would as I might cause unnecessary delay if they requested again. It's not only dates..what about the arrival and departure mentioned in Stamps.

You’re right, I will get it translated just to be safe. Already waited long enough to get an update and I don’t want to give them any excuse to delay my application longer than that. Thank you!

An applicant in one of the forums received the request for passport pages 2 months ago, and received her/his oath ceremony invitation last week. I can’t exactly remember which forum though. Although each case can be different, the fact that they’re working on your application is a good sign. I mean, at least your application is not forgotten. That really matters. So, hang tight my friend. I’m pretty sure you’ll hear good news in coming weeks.

Make sure you get any stamps other than in English or French translated by a certified translator. Cost me cad 50. After I sent them I was scheduled for an interview 2 months later and after another month got oath invite.

I also got interview date on 30 Aug but haven't received email yet...yours is online or in-person? yours also Scarborough office?

I am hearing applicants who sent application in Jan 2022 got their citizenship certificate already, and those sent b/w Oct 2020 and May 2021 are still in progress. I couldn't understand why IRCC is so discriminatory against applicants who sent them during pandemic time. Its very frustrating.

Finally, my application was updated exactly 1 year after the test (all pages of passport request).

ECAS shows decision made as well. Only the oath shows not started.
