Hi all,

I received email already stating I am eligible as a sponsor. My wife already did biometric and medical , both updated online already. But in tracking it still shows eligibility not started. Can anyone shed light on this please

Thats showing PA's eligibility and security. That takes time. Once eligibility passes your wife will get pre arrival email.

Depends on visa office. If its Ottawa then 6-8 months from AOR TO PPR.

Mine has been sent to NDVO as well. Lets see how long takes. Nobody seems to like them

My residency application was confirmed submitted on 4/4/22 via email message. I'm still waiting for AOR

I called IRCC today and all she gave a temporary XF number
Does this mean anything or a positive sign

To all, never mind but if you call them and get an application number starting with X that doesn’t mean anything, unless you receive the AOR. Once they start processing your application they will remove the X and will let you if it’s complete. With X it’s still the same is it was and the people over the phone can’t do anything bc they are not processing the applications.

Ho to check status ecas dint have given name but it requires both first and last. Have any idea?
