@Wacky1.nash Any idea why my tracker is not updated with Finger print request ( Waiting on you)?

I think it just might be a not-so-great system on IRCC’s part.

Maybe the tracker is to be updated manually by the officer, and they missed doing so. Or maybe different officers do it differently.

Regardless, I don’t think the tracker is important. You know there is progress happening because IRCC has communicated directly with you, so I wouldn’t worry if the tracker is updated or not.

I submitted my fingerprints yesterday and today I have ghost update ( 4 updates in a week) lol. Hopefully we get done with this in timely manner.

I got an update today! Language, Physical Presence and Prohibitions status changed to Completed and my status on Ecas shows Decision Made.
I checked my son's application and everything is still in progress for him except Background Verification which is complete and his last update was on Feb 16. Is this normal?

I finally received invitation to Oath ceremony on August 10th, but I've travel plans to the US on August 12th for medical reasons. I'll be back in a week.
In a dilemma whether I cancel the trip or reschedule oath ceremony. Any leads are appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Thank you. My fingerprint request came from Vancouver. So, I'm guessing Vancouver office. How can I find that out ?

Actually FP request always come from Vancouver, but you know your office from the three capital letters in the email address from which you got the test invitation

Your oath is on August 10 and you are going to US on August 12.

So is the issue that you won't have PR card to return?

Are you able to return by land. Because you can return just using your home country passport and a provincial ID such as driver's licence.

I would avoid rescheduling oath if I could, but then again, if you have to fly (can't drive) you may have no other choice...

Note - You can request an expedite on your citizenship cert, but I doubt it would come in a day, and you don't need it for travelling by land.
