TRV application from outside Canada

Hi guys,

I had to travel to India in April due to an emergency without a TRV. I recently applied for a TRV from India in July as I have a valid work permit. It's been a month now and I still haven't received any update on the application. They haven't started reviewing the eligibility.

I called IRCC and the agent told me that they cannot do anything about the application and that I need to contact high commission of Canada from India regarding this. Is there anyone who applied for a TRV from India and got approved?

I reapplied new application and got it within one month after waiting for 11 months for old one
