Hi.

I got my ITA in Dec 2020 and then started the PR application in Mar 2021. I got married in May 2022 and had notified IRCC thereafter. However, they didn't respond and on the top of it I got accepted for PR in July 2022.

I informed them again. But by that time I had to send my passport for VISA stamping. Now I have my VISA and CoPR letter (valid till Jun, 2023) but my status is still single. Also IRCC is yet to read my earlier update.

What should I do in this scenario ? Can I still go to Canada as single and let them know in person ?

Thanks.

@Supratim89 finally what happened? I am in a similar situation not sure if I have to submit my passport or not. I have a new born baby and we were waiting for the passport of the baby in the mean time we got ready for the visa email.
