My mother want to sponsor me, but she is on welfare. Is there anything she has to do in order to be eligible. Also Im a dependent child.
Is there any way that a mother could sponsor her dependent child if she is receiving social assisstance??????? Please help

She needs to get off welfare before she applies to sponsor you and then stay off welfare until the application is approved.
She needs to submit the application to IRCC before you turn 22.
What if she get off welfare? Will she be eligible to sponsor me?? She got her PR from her spouse.
Why were you not sponsored at that time when she was sponsored through her spouse? If not included in the original application then you may not be eligible? How old are you?

But you needed to be included in her application if she was sponsored by her spouse. You would have gone through medicals/police checks along with your mother at the same time. If not, she cannot sponsor you. Where is her spouse?
Yeah I remember I went through some medicals and police checks at that time. Her spouse is with her at Canada. How can she get off welfare pleasee???
If she can get off welfare and stay off welfare, then she can sponsor you. Again, she needs to get off welfare and submit the application BEFORE you turn 22. Once you turn 22 it will be too late.
Easy. Contact she contacts the welfare office and tells them to stop the payments.
