Let us know if you order them and when you get oath scheduled. I'm wondering if I need to order them again to get someone to schedule oath for me!

Kindly can you show how we can request GCMS Notes

Use ATIP under Privacy Act. I used CBSA's Notes in the end which showed me DUE DATE. If you want IRCC's notes, Just select "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada" from the list.

I applied online in false hope to get on the fast track. Invited for a test in February - right after passed got request for fingerprints. Last update in tracker was on March 4 (We received your fingerprint information on March 2, 2022 and will review them shortly. Thank you!).
To this date Citizenship test is the only part marked as Complete, everything else is In progress. No status update, not even a ghost one. Nothing.
Good luck to you as well!

Hopefully things will move forward sooner rather than later. Hang in there! Our turn is definitely coming!

1. What are the documents required for oath ceremony for adult and Minor. ( I don't have driver's license or a Ontario photo id card )..what are my options now?

2. What is the average processing time from dm to oath? ( Like average time, min time and Max time )

3. When we get Dm on ecas ? Do the other point's also change in ecas? ( Like from application received to test update on ecas is there any new update after dm and before oath )

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,

1. From the oath instructions doc, it says:

"2 pieces of personal identification (ID):

1. one must have your photograph and signature on it, e.g. driver’s license, health card
2. one of them can be your Permanent resident card, if your second piece of identification is Canadian federal, provincial or territorial issued ID
3. foreign ID documents must be government-issued, Canadian ones don’t need to be government-issued
4. if they’re not in English or French, you must provide a translation with an affidavit from the translator
5. minors are not required to show identification with a signature"

2. The processing time from DM to oath varies because no one has unravelled the method to the madness of IRCC. But from forum, it ranges from 1 day to up to 6 months in some cases. But I believe another factor is that it seems to be local office-specific regarding processing time. Mine took approximately 1 month from the Halifax office. So it's anybody's guess, lol.

3. For me, no changes in the ecas after DM. Only after the oath with "You became a Canadian citizen on July 26, 2022.".

Same here. Week after week has been passing me by with no progress at all

Hi everyone,
I had the oath ceremony on July 20, there were 157 people at the session Niagra falls office. The ceremony took almost 1 hour and 30 minutes.
I sent the oath form right after the session and got a confirmation email. Today, I checked the online tracker, and it says my status is closed. I think it means that they have sent the certificate.
Thanks, everyone for all the help during this journey and I wish your applications will be finalized soon as well.

Need to confirm my understanding. We just have to reply after the oath ceremony with signed document right. The email address is same as we receive the oath email and subject like has file number and last name. Anything else I missed . Please confirm

I am stuck too with Security clearance since long now, last update was on March 21, 2022 when i passed test and there was a ghost update on Ap 26, 2022.

Simce then i have requested 2 gcms notes, no real updates, stuck in security, applied for 3rd gcms notes now on July 16, 2022.

Called IRCC last week, guy was not nice and kept saying no need to call as nline update is same, etc etc and ended up saying lame things, processing time is 27 months so can't really do anything other than wait.

I said many people who applied after me have taken oath, and he said he don't know and as per him 27 months is what i need to wait for and then i didn't discuss anything further him as since call start, he was talking in same tone...
