SHOULD I MENTION I HOLD A USA STUDENT VISA IN MY CANADA STUDY PERMIT APPLICATION?

Hi!
In my study permit application, I was asked whether I hold a USA non-immigrant visa. I mentioned yes and uploaded a pdf copy since I had received my USA student visa prior to applying for Canada study permit. Will holding a usa student visa cause a refusal or an issue with my Canada study permit ? Please let me know. Any help will be appreciated!

P.s. I had initially planned on attending USA for my undergrad degree but then I received an offer from UBC and changed my mind, which is why I hold the USA student visa and am now applying for Canada study permit.

Don't hide anything from IRCC it can cause harm to your case later or sooner. Keep things straight. Don't take anyone's advice about "not required this time, no need this time" and let IRCC decide. So inform IRCC about this change.
