How do you check your application in phone system ?

How do you check your application in phone system ?

Using your temporary number, call ircc, the press 1 to give your UCI. Then press 1, then 1 and then 2. They will now ask you which letter your application begins with. Press 4 for G. (Your permanent application number is your temp number minus the X). After that, key in your year of birth then press one for the status of your application. This is available 24/7.

I am a November applicant, so not far away. I’m at a strange position where I can find my application through the phone system but not ECAS, please let me know if you are in a similar situation. When I submitted a webform IRCC told me ECAS is up to date so I am requesting GCMS notes to make sure.
