Pre-Assessed..
Yes
Hello guys! Does anyone know or has an experience of having "a patchy opacity with blurring of vascular markings" probably related to Covid-19 infection in the past, in their x-ray result? The rest of x-ray is normal. Were you required to do another exam? Did you get pass the medical test from IRCC? Thank you!

Hi, how is going your immigration? Did you pass medical step? My wife also got to redo her x-ray and probably she also will be asked to do sputum test. How long it delays the whole process?

Hi. My application is under process. Yes I passed the medical exams very next day of appearing for repeat chest xray. If she is asked for sputum test, she then has to give sputum samples, early in the morning, for 3 consecutive days. After that it would almost take 3 months for the results. Keep checking with them in between as the sputum is used for 3 different tests 1) genexpert 2) smear test 3) Sputum culture
1&2 takes few days and if they are -ve then it would be highly unlikely that sputum culture would be +ve.
Usually after 3 months of sputum samples, the applicant is asked to appear for repeat chest xray. My repeat xray was still problematic but sputum tests were -ve therefore they pass my medical.
Hope this helps.

Usually xray is more important. While in your application it says medical passed but people in this case usually get medical furtherance letter along with CoPR.

X-rays can show shadow for no serious reasons at all. I do not smoke even then it showed some opacity which triggered them to go for sputum test. My father is a doctor and had my x-ray (which I got a day before the test) examined by top pulmonologits. All of them opined that it was a normal x-ray.
