Congratulations and I am so happy for you and your parents. I know how frustrating it is to apply so many times and spend so much money, time, and effort and get a rejection. Could you please indicate what the reasoning for their previous refusal was and what you did to improve your application this time?My parents had four visitor visa previous refusals and today they got PPR request
Can you please share the timelines as well?In previous refusals they said you will not return at end of your stay. This time I applied super visa and I invited my parents on my convocation. All others documents and funds were pretty much same
What is your timeline please? My parents had four visitor visa previous refusals and today they got PPR request
Hi,Same for our first application as well. Medicals passed on Feb 18th and then after that no update, even for biometrics it didnt get updated. So we have re-applied on June 7th. Got approval on 20th June.
I would say try applying for gcms notes first to see whats going on. We have raised Webforms for first application as well but hasn't got any response too. Meanwhile on other hand keep all documents ready and once you cross that 134 day mark, just re-apply if you do not hear anything by then.Hi,
We applied on 6 April and submitted upfront medical which have not been updated yet.
Processing time of 134 days is not over yet. We are on 106th day.
I raised webform requesting update on medical but did not get a reply.
What should we do in this case? Please help!
Thanks
Thanks a lot.I would say try applying for gcms notes first to see whats going on. We have raised Webforms for first application as well but hasn't got any response too. Most of the times the background verification and Review of eligibility are not being triggered and outside of the application shows Submitted, but you would receive new messages showing Passport Request and medicals/biometrics passed. Be aware of that.
No, its not needed, we haven't shown any funds proofs from parent's side. Everything is ours, as we are inviting them and its a SuperVisa. Thanks a lot.
I submitted request for GCMS notes on 21 June. Today is 30th day of the request. Hopefully i should hear back on GCMS notes soon.
I am checking the status multiple times a day on the IRCC portal. so that should take care of any updates.
And for the re-application, do we need updated bank statements from India for parents?
we can have all documents from Canada - job letter, pay stubs, bank statements updated here.
Thanks a lot again for your responses. No, its not needed, we haven't shown any funds proofs from parent's side. Everything is ours, as we are inviting them and its a SuperVisa.
It is really dependent on their individual case. The fact that they have already applied for asylum indicates that they have a desire to remain in Canada longterm which can be very problematic. Unfortunately the current situation in Afghanistan makes getting a TRV more difficult. If you qualify I would consider revisiting a private sponsorship again if they get denied a supervisa. Chances of approval from Afghanistan are much higher as long as you have a group of 5 and the appropriate funds.Hi guys
Family had an asylum case in 2007 to come to Canada through Pakistan. We are originally from Afghanistan and I am a Canadian citizen. the asylum case was denied in 2007, and unfortunately on two subsequent occasions in 2019, when I applied for their visitor visa, their request was denied. Now, my wife and I have applied for super visas for them. The application was submitted on July 3 and I have also had my local
federal MP write a support letter. The biometric files from 2019 has already been linked to their profile which saves us a step. My concern is that they might reject this super visa request again. Could someone please share their experience if they were denied visas before but had their super visa approved ?
Thank you so much in advance
Are your parents in Canada, If yes check for the stamp from CBSA.Hello Everyone,
I have quick question regarding stay in Canada for my parents. They have their super visa valid till 2027. Do we need to update IRCC if they are staying for more than 6 months?
Thanks,
Shub
