Hi, for internal meetings and sales training. I have applied for the notes. will they be more specific in these notes? I want to re-apply by knowing exactly what went wrong. I have good travel history to the UK, bank balance, salary , so really dont understand the reason. If i should have been more specific on my purpose of visit? I cant get hold of anyone who has applied for a business visitor visa so that I can understand what went wrong.
Yes, this information in the notes should be more specific.
The purpose of visit refusal reason can mean many things and it's hard to guess what the issue may be in your case without knowing your full profile, how long a trip you requested, what supporting evidence you submitted, etc.
15 days- Jan15th - 30 th . docs submitted includes travel history, my bank statements, 3 years IT returns, invite letter, cover letter. Thats it!
Since a business visa did you not provide a daily itinerary of who and when you were meeting, purpose of meetings etc? You would need to provide detailed descriptions and contacts. Who did an invite letter?
oh i did not give a detailed itinerary. however did give employer invite letter. do you have a sample of the invite letter i should be using ? thanks a lot for the help. mine was not a detailed invite letter- just mentioned internal meeting and trainings, name of the invitee and contact details.
Don’t have a sample. So your employer did not provide a letter of why you needed to come to canada? You should provide a day to day itinerary of,what you are doing. Your employer should provide list of who you are meeting with and why. If training then program, agenda and purpose of training is included. Overall Your employer should state why you need to come to Canada. Costs - who is paying costs? If for business your employer should be covering all costs so employer should include airfare itinerary, hotel booking, per diems, transportation etc.
How long was this supposed business trip for Internal meetings and trainings?
Some Indian companies are notorious to use "Internal meetings and training" line when they are actually sending a person for short term work assignment but do not want to take the trouble of actually applying a work permit. It happens when they are sending someone for taking a handover of project they are moving offshore in IT.
If you are working for an Indian IT company you would need better documentation than "Internal meetings and training'. I'm surprised the immigration department of your company left you to fend for your visa and just gave a generic line to apply visa.

That's exactly why a visa officer would be suspicious on purpose of visit.
This is also an important point. What did you (OP) write in your visa application where it asks for who is paying for this trip?
