Transcript of the college is valid?

Hello everyone! I need a small clarity, would appreciate your reply.
I have done MBA from Annamalai University (2021) and there is some issue with UGC (My university is not approved by UGC since 14-15). So will it affect my ECA? Will I get a 2-year master's equivalence? If anyone has gone through the process recently or has any idea regarding the same please let me know. It will be a great help to me

Yes it would be as once ECA is applied the transcripts and completion had to be sent from the central university to which the college is affiliated. If they are not approving your college, who would be responsible to send your paperwork to ECA??

How about we take the transcripts from the university and send them on the university's behalf?

This is also fine but make sure its sealed with your uni's address on it.

Btw I checked on the Degree Equivalency Tool on WES, and they are considering my Master's as a 1-year postgraduate diploma . By any chance can I skip mentioning my course from this university in the education background section of SOP for a study visa?

No way, so what do you mean. If you skip it how would you explain you education background? And do you know that WES also sends your assessment copy to IRCC.

Oh, I didn't know about the IRCC thing. I thought of not to mention the master's and proceed with just bachelor's since I'm planning to go for a PG diploma course and they will question about why diploma again after master's which may be the reason for my rejection? Plus my university is not UGC approved feels like adding fuel to the fire

Please don't even think of it. I have heard about rejections for not giving full descriptions and then big mess while going for PR. I know its hard but please don't risk to held in info. Doesn't matter if not approved. They just need that you have done the education from the Uni. Most of Masters from India are converted into Bachelors'

Alright then, if not master's then at least I am getting a 1 year diploma from WES. I won't hide anything since they are considering my education rather than nil. Something better than nothing. I will also check if there are any other organizations that will consider it as masters. And thank you for your advice till now I will keep your words in mind and work accordingly
