I have similar timelines. I had my upfront medical on 28th April, lodged the file on 9th may. I haven’t received any updated since my biometric got processed on 13th may.
Any other may SDS applicants from India who have got their medical updated?
i applied on june 14th but my medical was done on april 16th and its still not updated- dont worry guys, - they usually speed up processing during this time since they know most students come in sept.i know of people who applied in dec but got their PPR on july 6th

so looks like by aug end latest we *should* be fine - like i said, it will be tight but we must be hopeful

I've read in an article by a visa consultant that the medical gets updated when they start working on your file. Medical, biometrics, background whatever has not been updated will be done once your file is under review.
So I guess it's not a point of concern unless it's been way too long. (over the 12-14 week timeline)

SDS visas are taking way more than usual time.
My timeline:
1. Applied on April 30th 2022
2. Visa file application April 30, 2022 ,
3. Medical Passed on the June 2nd 2022 ,
4. Biometric completed on the May 5, 2022
After this no updates till now.
My course starts from August 2nd University of Toronto.

Have you received any update after biometric..I want to go for SDS this time but for September intake its not possible now as only 1 month and 15 days I have and SDS is taking so much time.
No I havent, but Im hoping I will get an update soon.
I suppose if you're determined to go to Canada this September, non - SDS is your only option right now. But make sure your application is airtight and leaves no room for doubt in the VO's mind. Hope you get it. Good luck!

Was your medical an upfront one or did you get it done after your application submission?

Yeah, I have heard the same thing. I did, however, confirm from the medical centre if they’ve sent my file from their end, which they have. So that’s a relief.

Is it also possible to submit a duplicate application in non-SDS perhaps, in addition to the already submitted SDS one?

Hello everyone, I have applied in SDS for September'22 Intake from India. Study Permit + SOWP + Kid
Applied - 24th May
Biometrics updated- 30th May
Medical updated only for Spouse on 5th July and not yet updated for primary applicant and kid. Is this normal?
Any idea in this case when will medical get updated for primary applicant and kid?

Any one else who is going through the same timeline?
Any idea when can I expect response from IRCC?
