Please would someone who’s recently done their landing at Toronto let me know if:
1. They were able to get their SIN at the airport and
2. The address they gave for the SIN application was one for a hotel/Airbnb?

When I landed in March, I wasn't able to get my SIN at the Toronto airport because the service was stopped due to covid.

Hi, landed last Sunday but couldn't apply for SIN at the airport. I was told to apply online and I'd receive it within 5 days but since I don't have a proof of address yet, I'll now go in person at a local service canada.

Is the canada center working at the airport? Also will they need a permanent address as well at that time

The center is shut on weekends. In-person SIN applications don't need address proof, they hand it over then and there itself.
