So I requested GCMS notes for the second time to check what was going on with my application.

I had first requested in December 2021, and to my shock I received the exact same notes today, just with updated medicals (passed again on March 15, reflected on the portal)

This essentially means my file has been untouched since November 2021 as there are no notes/comments after that.

Criminality in progress and Security not yet Started.

I’m not really the negative kind but if there are going to be new draws this week, I don’t see this getting any better for us…

Question now is there anything I can do at this point? Would getting a RCMP clearance on my own be of any help?

What can we do about this situation? Just get ready to become 2019, 2020 FSWs and prepare to wait for more than 2 years. Nothing can change this department's systematic loophole...No matter how the minister acclaims, no matter how policies changes, there ARE certain groups of people will be suffering...This time, we, 2021 SEPT CEC AORS, will be one of the lucky groups...

what you're saying might be true, but keeping to repeat it over and over doesn't help. The mental toll for this long wait time is unbearable, but hope is the only light in this dark tunnel. Please don't spread the negativity and let the light to be on.

Wow, clearly what I've been saying is true. I have every rights to repeat it as many as I want. I clearly know it won't help, but it doesn't remove my rights to keep talking about it. The past fking two years destroyed everything of me. I cannot complain about it???
If I developed mental issues, guess who is the initiator? Also, who gave you, me, everyone here the negativity?
So, don't blame me, alright?!

There’s no point in blaming guys, I understand it is tough but at least some people are getting the portal emails every week.

Best thing to do right now is to accept it, it’s not like we will be thrown out, right? We are lucky enough to have the option to extend our WPs. Sure it does derail a lot of our future plans but at least it is better than rejection I would say.

I just wish there was a definitive timeline, which would say “okay your decision can be expected by end of August”

I’d just visit home that way, it’s been over 3 years since I did and even after getting the portal email there’s a longer wait for the PR card.

I guess the new draw is tomorrow (supposedly) let’s see what happens then.

Exactly, no reason for us to blame each other... What you said makes sense, we just need a timeline. Gosh, even US gives green card applicants monthly updates which is much much clearer. Comparing to how many people applying green card, we can tell canada is just doing a great job here...Just GREAT ... At least give applicants a timeline, so we can plan our lives...sigh...
