My passport got delivered to ottawa last Monday and this morning I received the portal email!! Dont know whats going on.

Just wanted to share my eCOPR just arrived.

in spite of the new draw, I think everyone in this room will have their apps processed within 3 months. That’s how many months on hands they have worth of remaining applications… (total of 30,000, and 8,000 being finished each month).

I don’t think the brand new app will interfere because people who received ITA still have to upload their documentations, so medicals and biometrics etc.

Hi Guys - I will be landing in Toronto on 19th July with COPR. From Toronto I'll b traveling to Halifax in the 1st week of August where my work location is. Due to company's directions i am going to Toronto to complete some formalities and then traveling to Halifax. Do i need to complete the PR card process in Toronto or in Halifax? If I complete the PR process in Toronto on 19 July can I travel to Halifax in August first week before i receive physical PR card copy, using the visa printed on my passport again after Toronto landing.

Just now I got a news from my representative of my PR application (who is also my relative, of course) that a PPR mail was delivered to his junk/spam folder on Jan 20, 2022. No mail communication to me either through CIC account or to my email ID that is provided as part of my application. As per the information in that email, I have to submit passports with in 30 days!!! It's nearly 5 months that I crossed the deadline for submission. My recent medicals were done on April 22, 2021. Now I am totally upset and confused!! what would be the consequences of not submitting the passports on time?? would some one please help me on the way forward for the same??

Just an Update, My passport got returned from Ottawa as is with a note saying that they wont be putting any stamps on my passport and I received my eCOPR from Etobicoke in 2 days after confirming my address and photos on the portal.

AOR 23rd Dec 2019, common-law partner added to profile with medical passed and biometric done. Learned via webform that eligibility, background, and security has been passed. 31 months already and don’t know when will this deadly dull process end!

Mandamus the sh*t outta IRCC. You will get a relief.

Blame your Rep. He/She doesn't know what they are doing. They messed it up big time. Sorry to say, there is little chance for IRCC to consider your request if you have any to resend your PPR.

Regarding the EE numbers, do they regularly update the processing status of the pending applications? According to this article: https://www.cicnews.com/2022/07/can...to-2-7-million-people-0729219.html#gs.6t27px; the number of EE (FSW) applications currently stands at 18,127. Of course, I have to be part of that pool lol. I wonder when they will update these figures next - do you know, is it a weekly, or monthly thing?

its monthly, normally mid month. Those are persons not application. Apparently in June they processed 6k persons. (It was 24k ish before)

Hello @legalfalcon, we have welcomed a newborn and would like to add to the PR application, and also my remed was remaining which was during pregnancy, do we need to inform the IRCC before submitting my Xray, or after that we can inform them since we do not have our child's passport with us yet. And before having all the documents with us, is it good to inform them, so they provide a certain time? Please reply if anyone has been through this process.

If you can get the passport in 30 days, then let IRCC know about it soon as they will give 30 days to submit the documents.
