Multiple study permit applications are allowed?

My first application is stuck for 9 months, may be because i applied with spouse's work permit.
Can I submit my application again this time alone, while the first application is in process?
I will apply alone under SDS category.

You can apply for GCMS Notes to check the status of your application. It will further delay your first application if you submit a duplicate application for a study permit.
