Hello.
i am engaged and I was wondering if its okay to marry my fiancé in Canada.
will that affect the PR process because it’s within canada?
and also for visit visa. What amount is best for bank statement

- Yes, it's fine to get married in Canada.
- Your fiance should be the one to show the bank statement. Ideally at least $10K but it depends on the length of the trip.
- Your fiance will need to show strong ties to their home country to be approved.

How do one show strong ties to their home country? Must it be through employment only ?

Strong ties are typically things like employment and property ownership. You can also show school enrollment and savings / bank balances.

There's no special TRV path for fiances. If anything, this can sometimes work against the applicant and make IRCC concerned the individual has plans on remaining in Canada long term.
