It's frustrating! they are slow, incompetent and no transparency whatsoever! the whole process is arbitrary!

I did my test on March. Their website says the process time is 27 months! like honestly, they have no regards to people

My test was back in Nov, and I recently got an update 1 week ago, about everything complete. So, hang in there, buddy!

My family and I completed our oath ceremony this afternoon. Thank you to each and everyone for the many questions answered these past many months of waiting. There were 75 candidates from Mississauga that were taking the oath and are among Canada’s newest citizens! The judge said that in March alone they processed some 42k citizenship applications. All of 2021 they did 120k. These numbers don’t really mean much if your still waiting for your day! To all those waiting hang on, it will come. In the end just before DM I requested ATIP notes for my file. Then a month after DM i requested for my wife. I sent one case specific Enquiry and an email to plead to their human side on the 1 year anniversary of our file being processed. We have a trip coming up to our home country in August so back in February I sent that. Since then we received DM in March 2022 and the oath call up in June. We even contacted our MP who provided the regular update (we could see from the status/eCAS.) but a week after that response we received the oath invite. Was it a co-incidence, maybe? Having watched so many YouTube videos on the virtual oath ceremony, i feel prepared me and my family for what to expect today. I could literally tell them what would happen next. Overall the process went smoothly! All over in 2 hours. Now to celebrate tonight as official Canadian citizens!

Thank you for your previous reply. How long does it take from the moment you sent the request to get oath invitation? Also you used that web form for it ? Is there any template I can use or I just have to make my own words ? Make it as simple as possible or give as much detail as possible?

I replied to test invitation email attaching the evidence for urgent processing and requested them to look at the application. I also submitted a web form and mentioned that in the email as well.

Congratulations to those who are done with their oath and those who are scheduled. For the rest of you, we all feel your pain and were in the same situation until a few days ago. I wish each of you all the best and hope that too are done with the process soon.

Decision made on Feb21st but still waiting for oath. Anyone on same boat. What might be the reason. Call center agents and webform requests says same thing its in progress. Not sure why they are delaying after decision made. Its four months now with no oath invitation. Its ridiculous. Any suggestions??

Try reaching out to your local MPs office. We did that and I am not sure if it did the trick but one week later we got the oath call up. It was 3 months for us from DM in March.
