I’m nearing the end of finally finishing my application for my spouse, and I’m currently wondering how much text are we expected to include to be used as part of supporting documents?

my wife and I have been together for 4 years (married for 6 months now), and we talk everyday, so we have ALOT of text conversation, so much that I’m not sure what part of the text I should use as a supporting document and how much of it.

if anyone can point me in the right direction in regards to this question, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

What is there to be not sure about? Have you not read their instructions?

They specifically ask for 10 pages of chat logs, so send 10 pages of chat logs.

I meant that as I can include any random one so long as it’s 10 pages? Does it have to be 10 pages of same convo? Or from different one? How many screenshots of texts do I put per page? Lots to be unsure here.

There are no explicit instructions for the above questions because it's expected that people will exercise common sense. Yes any random ones are fine, no of course it doesn't have to be 10 pages of the same conversation, as many screenshots as is reasonably easy to read.

Hey when submitting WhatsApp conversation does IRCC reach out to get what conversation has happened with other people?

If i am right you question is , having the translation of conversation, you are required to provide translation of the chats done by certified translator . If you are talking about to reaching to PA about the chat's - no they will not reach out in person to anyone on the chats

You can randomly pick your chats. if you feel something is very personal, you don't want to share you need not. You can have 10 pages of proof of communication either messages calls or whatsapp conversation ( 1 each page or multiple per pager applicants discretion)

I read through some of the case logs of the appeals for spousal sponsorships and I recall at least one instance where the panel said that on review of the text/whatsapp conversations provided in the application there wasn't evidence of close or loving relationship. So to me that means it is worthwhile sharing some amount of personal conversation.

it also means that the application do not have other strong proof of relationship.

What I meant was what we submit, can IRCC go beyond and get conversations which has happened between friends or before marriage with other people?

Lol, no were are not getting spied through IRCC, might be USA because the server are in our neighbor country. Jokes apart you don't need to share your chats with friend before marriage nor IRCC will be interested in them . The purpose of what you are requested is to provide is how you communicate with significant other , chats, calls or letters . Provide all evidence that you are communicating with the applicant that's it

Its all upto your discretion, you think you want to divulge personal information you can go ahead and do it. Nobody is saying no, but now a days everyone is very protective about information so that why i said you have the right to not divulge very personal chats. Selects chats that are talking about your discussion of holiday/wedding/dinner plans together, property skouting, living together plan, kids , wishing for bdays and other special occasions....... these are just few to mention but you can pick what ever you like.

Most Important other than Chats are Social Media posts(Instagram or FB) where you have made your Marriage public and others have Congratulated you.
