I applied for Canada visitor visa on the 8th April 2021, I did my biometrics on the 11th of April 2021 a week letter the embassy called me to upload more documents on my portal (travel utility) i did that immediately
since then have not gotten any information or mail from CIC I'm so worried
pls can anybody advice on what to do ?

Would suggest reapplying on the new portal

Will I have to withdraw the old application or it will be done automatically?

Old application will be automatically withdrawn ( after some time ) when you apply on the new portal. you need to add your UCI number when you are applying from new portal .. bank documents ( POF ) has to be latest.. New portal only allows you to upload each doc with 2mb size.. you need to choose and upload only the required documents in order to meet this file size.. there is also a other documents tab where you can upload extra docs, but still size cap is 2mb and you have to merge / resize the docs to meet this size cap.

To date, I have not received any mail/message from the embassy

It’s not sure that applicant wl get fast results in portal, I applied 9may22 on gckey and got approved 20 jun - exact 40 calendar days

That is faster than many. See many where it has taken 2-3 months.

You are within typical processing times. All you can do is wait.
