Applying via CEC, spouse outland

Hello,

I am on a PGWP and I have accumulated the work experience required for CEC. I am getting married by August and I would like to know if I decide to wait until August to apply, can I submit the application with me being inside Canada and my spouse being in India? Or, do I have to bring her inside Canada using a visitor visa or a spousal work permit to start the application?

You can apply with your spouse outside of Canada. Your spouse does not need to be in Canada.
