Diploma Certificate not sent by University.

Hi All,

Please help me with this Confusion. I have done Bachelors, BBA (3 year) & PGDBA (1 Year) from a WES Recognized University. The university have sent the documents to WES and I have received the report for BBA as Canadian Equivalent to 3 year Bachelor Degree but For PGDBA, It says:

Accepted: Statement of Marks (University Issues & Attested)

Not Received: Degree Certificate (Final or Provisional)

As per WES, they do not receive the Diploma Certificate and only received the Mark Sheets. When I asked my University, They said for one Year Diploma course, they Only Issue a Statement of Marks (Mark Sheets) but no Degree/Diploma Certificate.

Will that means PGDBA will not be Calculated in WES?

Ask your university to give that in writing and raise a ticket in your WES account giving the description. Get this letter from your uni in case WES asks for it.

Just a Question Buddy. I believe every university (Private or Government) must give the Certificate, right? Because I have never heard any University not giving out their Certificate regardless of the Course Duration.

Yes you are right. Every insitute issue a completion certificate, after all that is the only thing we pay a fortune for.

Went to the University Today. Asked them again for this Document (Passing Certificate) but they refused again and said that for one year diploma, there is no passing certificate and there is only Grade Card. For two year diploma, there is Passing Certificate.

Asked them to give it in writing so they said to go to registrar. Went to their office and they refused that we cannot give this in writing but we do not give the passing certificate. I asked for the Provisional Diploma as well but they refused. They said only mark sheets will be provided in one year diploma.

What can I do in this Scenario?

Let them know about WES process and why you need that?

Let them know why you need it. To be frank very weird of the uni, they should introduce online things if can't provide the paperwork. My university provided online certificate so that WES can verify, how convenient!! I wish rather than earning money they think about students. Well, ask them you are willing to pay to get this letter or find some person helpful in the admin, let them know about WES and ask them to be a way out. Thats strange every uni knows about assessment bodies abroad and their process whatsoever.

I told them that it's for my Immigration and also I added that I need this for my job verification and told them that if I do not get this certificate, I might lose the Job. They said that this is the best they can do.

I'll go to the University day after tomorrow. I will let you know what they said.

Tell them either they give you a letter otherwise they had to explain that to WES once they approach them.

I think my ears are ringing did you just said that they are CENTRAL GOVERNMENT UNIVERSITIES?? Oh God, after you are done with them, spread a word about this.

Hi Taran.

I wanted to share an update. I went to the University and created the scene out there regarding this issue. Went to Vice Chancellor of the University and registered a formal letter complaint about it.
Also warned them regarding filing an RTI and writing an e-mail to UGC.

Then after that they have sent the credentials to WES in a right way and just few hours back I received this update from the WES.

""CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Bachelor's degree (three years) and postgraduate diploma (one year)""

Does that mean that i can now select "" Two or more degree/diploma"" While creating the Express entry profile?
