Medical Examination for PR

I get into a strange situation that I was asked to re-take the medical examination for PR(Express Entry) that I completed last year year in March. I took the upfront medical exam last year (at the end of March 2021) before the pr submission. In March 2022, my application was approved and I was given the PR Portal. I have been waiting more than three months for the COPR . On June 15 2022, IRCC sent me a message for another medical exam. I am not sure whether this is a system glitch or I am really asked to retake it again.

Does anyone get the same situation? Please share your advice. Thanks

Your medical expires in 1 year. So you cannot land without either a re-medical or IRCC extending it.
If you look at some applications that took years, some were asked for medical 3 times.

oh really. Thank you for your information. My work permit expired in March 2022 and my work permit extension was also rejected. When I planned to reapply for the work permit, the I got the PR result on March 11 and received the PR portal 3 days later. So far I have been waiting 13 weeks for the eCOPR.
