TRV application against work permit from New Delhi,India

Hi everyone,

I am Canada returning worker. Came to india 8 months ago and applied TRV for work permit in New Delhi, India till date no response on my application. Again i reapplied my TRV 4 month back no response . Now can I apply VISITOR VISA ?? so that i can go back to see my wife its very urgent. Please help me out

TRV and visitor visa are the same thing. A TRV is a visitor visa. Where are you and where is your wife? When does your work permit expire?

A work permit and TRV are two different things. You say stamp so you have sent your passport for work permit stamping. Did you apply for work permit outside Canada? If so, your TRV would be processed at the same time.

no I applied inside canada and i got it but now i m in India waiting for passport request from 8 months no response can i apply vv?

If you don’t have a TRV/visitor visa then you can reapply for one. Do you have status on your past two applications?

I applied for my temporary resident visa and sent passport for stamp but i didn’t sent envelope inside is there is any number to contact them and pay rest of amount. Please let me know

I m on work permit but no visa stamp on passport and i have applied twice for stamp but no response now i m planning if i can apply vv is that possible. This vv application will not clash with work visa stamp

If you have applied for a TRV already against and approved WP [ which is considered an Inland Visitor visa], I am not sure how much sense it makes to apply for a visitor visa freshly. Try to raise a webform and explain your situation to see if it helps. I know it helped a lot of people on this forum.

Thanks but i have raised many web forms try sending emails now totally frustrated they don’t reply

Yes I have been there done that. Some people get it approved in few days while some take few months. It is so very random unfortunately and I sympathize with your situation. You have already made 2 applications for the TRV, right?

When I applied for my TRV, many people who were stuck ended up applying multiple times. It has no negative impact and some of them were lucky for their latest applications to get picked up.
