Did your status get updated after the test? Mine was June 3rd but still no update.

Our test status on the Status Tracker website was just updated completed today.

Speaking with some friends who got the citizenship recently they all said that the "interview with a citizenship officer" is a mandatory step where in CIC's website states that an interview may be required. They all had the interviews but it was simple and easy, only to discuss the dates they travelled outside Canada.
What do you guys know about the interview step?

It used to be mandatory pre-covid-19. But now they usually happen when you have taken your citizenship test outside of Canada.

Before the pandemic, everyone would do their tests in person and then have an interview there for the officers to check your test results and documents and to ask basic questions. So having an interview is not really special or out of the ordinary when you consider that.

BGC completed on May 11th. got test invite email on jun/08/2022. test window Jun/10/2022 to Jun/30/2022.

Anyone receiving updates on online application? Looks like paper application are processed faster than online. Its frustrating.

I so much now regret why we did not do paper application. Friend of ours told us to do online application as last year his paper application took 1year almost. Seriously this sucks they need to understand people who applied online are also waiting for their citizenship.

Same, lol. I resubmitted with paper, and let's see how it goes this time (I don't recommend doing it though, at least do not do it without thoroughly thinking through it)

Took my test today and passed with all answers correct.

As recommended by other people I used the following app;

Read through the study guide in 2 or so hours, took all 21 practice tests until I had passed them all, and then took the test straight after.

Anyone else still have no movement since AOR? I'm starting to think I may need to renew my PR at this rate....
