Your status will change to decision made once they finish reconsideration.
I got my reconsideration refusal in 3 weeks. They emailed me personally with refusal letter stating that the additional evidence you provide is considered and sticked with his decision. Hence, reconsideration is refused.
Did you applied via email or webform ? What office ? Did your ecas says “In Process” or Decision Made while your reconsideration is in progress ?
Winning a reconsideration is like winning a lottery, remember that officer who refused your application not because your case is weak , but he just doesn’t want to accept you. You can’t change someone decision only God can no matter what evidence you provide.
True, even with 100% evidence he refused. consider you put another 50% his decision will be same. As same officer made up his mind to refuse you he will probably wont even go through your consideration evidence. Harsh but its fact. Sorry not trying to scare you or putting your hopes down but it is what it is.
Very well said. If the officer made decision to refuse, most likely, no evidence in the world will help. Your best bet is new app because you will most likely have a new agent. Our reconsideration was refused in Montreal but then I re-printed all the evidence (exactly same evidence!), translated in English and sent to Vancouver as a new app and it was approved.
Very well spot on. Our GCMS notes show that she did not even open our new evidence sent for reconsideration. She just reprinted old refusal letter from previous year and did not even trouble herself by changing the date. 6 months lost for nothing. I regret it that we listened to the lawyer instead of filing new HC.
Yeah it happened with me and i caught him for not going through the whole evidence.
