How long it take to get the visa decision after receiving a request for additional docs?

We have an Open Work Permit application that has been in progress for a long time (7 months), and now we received a request for additional documents, specifically proof of funds.

Can that be a sign of getting the decision soon?
or Does the request of new docs means that I will have to wait for more time till they open my application again and process the new docs?

I have recevied Additional documents request on 6th july 2022 ,Still no update ?
