SOWP + Minor (Child) Study Permit Processing Time?

Hi Guys

I am currently waiting for my PPR to study, after I eventually (hopefully) receive it.

I will then apply for my wife and 4 year old son to go with me to Canada.

If you have already walked this path, what is the processing time to apply for SOWP+ Minor Study Permit?

As information online can be misleading and a real time account would be better I think.

I did and got rejected.

Not enough ties to my home country, hence the reapplying with my family being based back home.

Was the agents advice as applying all together looks like you not going to "leave".

So applying for me first and getting accepted then applying for them after is the better way to go about it. Has a higher chance of success apparently and I have no choice.
