Different name on Birth Certificate

hi, I'm sponsoring for my wife . but she has different father's name on birth certificate. . her father name is Muhammad Farooq but on birth certificate her father name is Muhammad Farooq bhatti. However her name is same on all docs. can you please let me know should i go with existing birth certificate or should i change it. Thanks

Am I correct that 'bhatti' is a sort of post-nominal suffix, i.e. a cultural tradition to add it in some contexts?

If so: easy suggestion is include a short letter of explanation of this and that the slight difference in names is a result of this tradition and clearly the same person (date of birth etc).

I believe IRCC has enough staff who are familiar with these things and shouldn't be a problem for father of an applicant.
