Some public jobs are considered government employement but you may not think it is. (e.g. teacher at pulic school, worker at government owned/co-owned cooperation)

So I need to scan my mom's new passport. Problem is the file size - 7 mb. My dad used printer scanner, and I tried to compress it in Adobe Pro. Still no luck. Do I have to scan all the pages? Webform file size limit is only 2 mb. The only way I can get around is only scanning biographic and stamped pages. Please help!!!

it's a new passport so i assume every page is blank? submit pages with contents, like stamps, visas and the bio page of course. use adobe to clip out the blank pages.

The medical status on gclogin says
April 7, 2022 You passed the medical exam.
but we never received the medical instructions. we only had medical 4 years ago when applied for supervisa. Parents are in canada since then.
do you think we will have to get the medical done again?

And everything else is under processing.
We received biometrics request in march
And was asked to send pcc and adhar card birth certificate in advance to minimize delays

Mine changed to completed on Mar 22 then May 12 AOR. Nothing after that.

They probably accepted the old medical. I have read a post before that they are accepting medical within 5 years for PGP.

Unless they ask you, I think you should be good as they accepted your parents last medical.

I applied on Nov 25 and haven't heard anything until now. I am tensed and stressed now as it has been 7 months now and no update.

Can i reach them for update ? can anyone pls share email or webform link if handy? Thank you

Applied early October, case worker only checked five documents so far. I tried everything I could do. Sent webform, no response at all. Called IRCC, told me nothing I can do at this stage. just wait. Well, I wait, wait and pray.

Application was submitted November end. The F12 notes say status 10 - completed. All documents status is true. Last update seems to be May 19th. But there has been no communication for Biometrics or medical. Any idea when i can expect these?

it all depends on the type of jobs that your father had in the Government as an example in the Army :
First Lieutenant · Captain · Major · Lieutenant Colonel ...
or in a company :

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
• Other C-level titles, such as: Chief Operating Officer (COO) ...
• President.
• Executive Vice President.
• Senior Vice President.
• Vice President.
• Assistant Vice President.
• Associate Vice President.

I submitted my parents application last October 26,2021 and received an email in January requesting to submit imm 5406 form and emailed that form January 12,2022 and i also update in my mom’s pr portal that time it can be edited. Until now we haven’t received any update but i was able to link their application on GcKey last may 16,2022. I am worried now because haven’t received any update since submitted the requested form.
