My ex-landlord threaten legal action if i dont start paying the rent I owe him.
Can the Canadian courts action take money that is for my education, or is that safe?

What province? So you moved out without paying rent? If landlord comes through proper legal channels then yes you can be asked to repay the money.

If the money in a bank account, yes. In an RESP, probably not.
