Fraud happen with me in Immigration

greeting for the day
i wanted to make you updated for the agent fraud happen with me recently.
i am a responsible citizen of India.
i was cheated by an agent with the attractive job offer for work permit in Canada from India directly and it was also without of any "LMIA".
i was told by him that he will provide me work permit in 5 month and also he will provide the air ticket and food accommodation as it is totally provided by an employer of Canada.

i have doubt for my agent that he is preparing the fake documents like fake job offer and fake employment letter from India and making fool to the innocent people by saying that this documents and offer is coming to him directly from Canada companies.and also from his lawyer who is working in Canada and handling the operation.
i believe that i am fooled by him and with this fake offer of job i have already submitted my visa application in Canada visa application know as vfs global office in Ahmadabad.
as i am totally new for this entire immigration process so i was totally not aware that how this fraud crime is planned and organized.
and later of 2 month of the submission of my application i received an email from the Bangalore immigration and it was stating like " I have concerns that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by section 16(1) of the. Specifically, I have concerns with the authenticity of your offer of employment from your employer ".
now this query show in it self that their is something really fake things kept in my application for which i was not aware so i have show my red eye on my agent.
and i was have to reply on it within the 30 days so i have asked my agent to reply over it in strict words so first he said to me that i will reply in a week and later on he make me fool by giving excuses like
my person who is handling the entire operation from Canada has already reply for your query and now you just be relax and wait for the visa only.
now after two month of this matter yesterday i have sent an email to Bangalore immigration direct for status of my application and their answer was saying me like " correspondence regarding your application has been sent on your email id check your mail box ". conclusion is they have still not received the answer for their query which they had regarding my work permit application.
now my agent is not responding of my call and his office is also closed from last 2 week ,even i have also heard from nearest people he is a Fugitive and just of one week ago people came to his office for fight and for the reimbursement for their money
now i have concern that how soon Bangalore immigration will release my passport as i know due to this fake offer i am not going to get any visa.
now i just want to save my self to banned in Canada for five years as i am totally faultless in this.i am just hoping my passport back
please advice me can i mail my this entire concern to the Bangalore immigration directly and request them to release my passport early.
moreover i am planning to register a police complaint against this fraud agent but as this is totally secondary thing for me primary is how to take my passport back from immigration?
i would like to thanks to you for your attention on this query and concern.
please guide and advise me on this as soon as possible so i can take my action according.

You can try withdrawing the application but at this point, it is probably too late to avoid a misrepresentation ban.

Falling for a scam does not make you faultless. It was your responsibility to make sure that everything was authentic.

You need to contact the visa office and let them know the job offer isn't real. You can explain that you obtained the job offer from an agent and you thought it was real. Do not say you are completely faultless in your message to the visa office - this isn't true. It was your responsibility to verify the job offer was real and you are responsible for all for the information in your application even if you used an agent.

If you don't contact the visa office they you are pretty much guaranteed to get a ban. If you contact the visa office, there is some chance you won't be given a ban. You should send a message to the visa office as soon as possible and hope you aren't given a ban.

Can you please let us know what have you done? I am in the same boat, i wish i could have seen this before, today i recieved email that LMIA is fraud

You'll need to respond to the PFL letter that you have received and tell IRCC that you did not know the LMIA was fraudulent and that you thought this was a real job and employer.

The work permit is definitely going to be refused since the LMIA is fake. However what you have to hope is that they simply refused you, and don't end up also banning you for five years for misrepresentation.
