Yes. If you have a visa to return to Canada, your absence should not be a problem. You can't however leave after you are approved and before you get your PR card
Thank you for the response. Yes my PR is still pending. Are you waiting for your PR under CEC?

Following the current velocity, it would take ircc 161 days counting from Apr.29 to process all CEC applications, and don't forget about the worse part: the velocity has been gradually decreasing.

Forget about their service standard, ppl working at ircc probably only work 30 mins a day.

Please seek alternatives if available and don't plan your life based on ircc's false information.

Hello, anyone know if we need to inform ircc if we are traveling back home or couple of weeks, while CEC is under processing? Appreciate your input. Thanks
We went on vacation to Dominican in April and had no issues coming back. Just make sure your visas and permits are valid.

Does anyone know what happens when medicals expire? My medicals are expiring on 27th of next month, I'm CEC inland if that makes a difference

My AOR is Sept 20th. No updates since then. I informed ircc about my newborn and they asked us to fill up the family form and send them my son's birth certificate. No updates on medical(i have provided from 2018) or anything else. Everything still shows in progress and the GCMS notes don't have anything other than the analysts comments. Any one having similar issue?
