URGENT: Supervisa application while traveling on TRV

Hi all, my mum has a 10 yr TRV and recently also applied fora supervisa in India. Due to covid etc she was not able to submit biometrics. Now the offices have opened and the next available appointment is in Aug. However I am also aware she is able to come to Canada via Germany prior to July 21.

Since I'd like her to be here before they change things again. My question is, can she do her biometrics in Canada and submit it online or does she HAVE to do it in India?

Secondly can she travel to Canada on her TRV while waiting for a decision on her supervisa, if she provides biometrics in India?

The reason I'm asking is because I called CIC and they said she cannot do the biometrics in Canada since it's an outside application.

And that when she does her biometrics in India. She cannot leave until the application is complete even if it's take 300+ days.

Is this true?

I want her to come before they shut the flights down again.

hey thanks for replying, do you mean they came on supervisa or came on visitor visa and got supervisa stamped in canada?

Supervisa was approved and stamped in India. They came to Canada on supervisa.
