Hi everyone, please help
I applied under CEC and got my PR last year. In my application, my common-law partner was listed as non-accompanying due to score drops (which I already explained in the LOE, and I also mentioned that I will sponsor him after I get PR in the letter). My PR was approved
However, my partner now wants to apply PR on his own, instead of letting me to sponsor him, but we are still in common-law relationship
Does it sounds weird to the Officer that we are still in the relationship but he decided to apply his own PR? Besides, in the LOE that I submit last year, I did mention that I will sponsor him
Do you guys think it will be okey, if he goes ahead (he will states in the LOE that he doesn’t want sponsorship)
Both of us are in Canada

Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

He doesn't need to include an LOE. He is free to apply for PR on his own vs. being sponsored by you.
