Hi,
I applied for my mothers Citizenship online and the application was returned with the reason that CIC was not able to find record of physical presence in Canada prior to becoming Permanent Resident in their system.

My mother is in country for 2 years as a PR and before that she was in Canada on a Super Visa for almost 3 years. And I submitted letter of explanation along with copy of Passport stamps and date on entry on Landing Paper.

Kindly advise as I tried to submit a web form but no response received and CIC is not reachable by phone without application number.

Thanks

Hi
How are you doing?
May I know how you solve the problem?
I received the same email yesterday. I have no idea what I have to do and what document I need to add?
Did you apply online or on paper?
thanks

Don't waste your time and apply by paper
do you think applying by paper is going to work?
What document do I need to submit to prove my physical presence before PR?
They are really stupid that they cannot find it!
All our fingerprint before PR can be found easily.

Yes, because if you applied online, your application will be returned again, or you wait for 3 years in PR, but for paper, the verification is done manually at a later stage.

Ok many thanks.
I already resubmitted again yesterday.
Should I wait for them or I can send it by paper now?

Hello,
I tried to resubmit thrice didn't help, so dont waste time reapplying. As learnt the file was being assigned to an officer who does not have full access to CBSA records therefore a senior officer needs to resolve this. I rdached out to my areas MP. They will ask you to fill out an intake form and request copies of documents and will reach out to CIC at their end to resolve the issue. My MP helped me to ensure file is accepted as all the information was legit.

They are pretty fast. Mine responsed through email in couple of days and overall it took around 7 weeks. I didnt even had to go to their office. They have dedicated staff to help for immigration cases.
