Applying for a visitor visa with a valid working permit outside of Canada

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm in Viet Nam which is outside of Canada. My travel visa is expired and I can not go back to Canada. However, I do have a working permit until 2024. I did apply for a visitor visa on 19 May 2022 and got an email that they are processing my application on 20 May 2022. How long do you think it will take to process my case? And also is there a way to request urgent processing for my case?

There is no expedited processing (everyone wants that) so all you can do is wait. You can check processing and I think Vietnam is about 2-3 months on average.
