HI SENT DOCUMENTS FOR DROPBOX OPTION FOR H1 AND H4 TO OTTOWA NO UPDATE SINCE 1 MONTH

Hi We are Permanent residents of Canada, last time we got stampings done in Ottawa, so when I pay the fee, portal showed me you are eligible for dropbox so sent our h1 and H4 applications to Ottawa Service Centre on Nov 8th, courier provided by them showing documents delivered but not even it is showing processing or any other, every time we check DS-160 status it is showing ' No Status ' . Really it is painful very very frustrating. Even called 11-12 times so far, they saying nothing we can tell just email them. But every time I email an automated response after that nothing. I am an essential worker in Health care system, asked my employer to send the supporting letter, still there is nothing moving, anybody suggest me please what can be done? thank you

Cant do much about it. Same like cic, it depends on the officer and the background verification team, how soon they complete.

Seems you took oath few days ago hence visa wont be required for you. So you dont need to worry about visa but may be for your other family members(if they are not canadian citizens). So you can plan accordingly.

Yeah I dont need VISA, but I called the border officer that while other VISA in process can i cross the border with Canada Citizenship , he said depends on the officer who let you in, and he said 50-50 , so I am feeling scared to cross even I live next street of ambassador bridge

May be the confusion about pending visa application. So clear that one out then.
Just email the consulate to return your passport saying you already received Canadian passport. Ask them how to withdraw the application in this case. So once they return then there is no pending application and you can hit the border directly to request H1 status.

Here the scenario is, I got the citizenship not my spouse, so if I withdraw the application both applications will be withdrawn, So I dont know what can be done , by tomorrow it is exactly one month

I am in the same boat 10days and counting. I had some of my friends who got their passport back in 14days all on H1B all sent to Ottawa, I thought it would take same time and now I am stuck. No response No status. Its crazy.

Is there any update on your case? I am waiting since 4weeks no status update on my case. I am thinking of withdrawing my existing visa is valid till feb 2022 not sure if that can be done at this point.

Yeah today it shows issued and afternoon 1 pm got the email from consulate dispatched the travel documents to courier, which I choosed Purulator so got the tracking number for the same, its showing that express envelop has picked by courier. so waiting for the passports to open and see.

Hi - What is your status? Hope you received both visa stamped already. Right? If so, can you please let me know whether you sent all H1B & H4 documents in the same packet to consulate location or in separate packet?

They can be sent in same envelopes if its a single application.
