Anyone experiencing citizenship grant application not closed after almost 2 weeks after oath. Montreal office I have sent the signed oath form several times, what else can I do will the call centre people know who else to contact. Any idea

Rarely it takes 3 weeks as i saw one member waited for more than 2 weeks. But in the invite itself they told that it will take 2-4 weeks and they would have told that same during oath. Sending multiple times surely wont help and you waited for a year to get his stage but not sure why you are in hurry. Being in hurry on this is going to confuse them.

Thank you for taking the time to respond, I am ok to wait for the certificate itself however people who did the oath along with me I see their applications are closed , it’s worrying me and I am hoping I haven’t done anything incorrectly, I have added the clerks name and responded on the same email address I am getting automated response from the mail address but then nothing, it’s frustrating not knowing what else to do.

Earlier this month, I saw some applicants got their case closed on the same day or the day after. Then, receive their citizenship certificates within a week. I don't now what happened lately as I noticed people are waiting longer than before. Personally, I waited 9 days to see the case closed update. Haven't received my certificate yet, I am expecting at least another week to receive it. Even though, IRCC stated that we are expecting a 2-4 weeks timeframe to receive the citizenship certificate, I think, lots of people would get it within 2 weeks before. But recent trends suggest that we might need 4 weeks or more.

Same case on receiving the certificate as well - possible delay as usual in every step.

My certificate was postmarked 7 days after account was closed even though account was closed in 2 days of oath. So few more days delay possible but mostly it will come in 7-10 days from closing. Worst case 2 weeks.
My wife's certificate was postmarked within 2 days of account closing.

So time line varies from officer to officer and office to office.
