Hi We just received an email from CIC.CPCMississauga at 5:17pm EST which contains no attachments just some random instructions that we already know about. I am pasting some of the content below. Is this what you call a "ghost update"? Please let me know what should we do next? Our online status on PR portal is still showing as Returned since we received additional documents request on April 1st.

My timeline:
Oct 19 - Submitted application
April 1st - requested to submit IMM5406 for both parents
April 11th - Submitted requested forms to the email provided
May 17th - ghost email received (presumed xD)

I received almost a similar email yesterday from the same address. It provided me a link to the instructions on how to apply for parents sponsorship. Nothing else. Based on the sender address, I assumed my file is transferred to Mississauga office.

Nope, nothing at all. Just a link to their website which we all already know exists.

When you check your gckey status, under '' detail about your application status'' 3rd line where it says " Review for additional document" what they write?

for me it said "

• We need additional documents to process your application. We will send you a letter or email with details."

even I already sent incomplete forms they asked for, still like above. what about your?

Hi! We have the same concern. We submitted our option c's already and I dont know if they received or open it already. Did you receive aor?

Yes, I already received AOR email few days after they asked me for incomplete form.
Please let me know if your status changed in GCKey?

Hi all,

Here is our timeline:

-Nov-7-2021 submited.
-Apri-29-2022 return for incomplete documents.
-April-30-2022 re-sent new documents.
-May-6-2022 case status id change to 10 (complete).
-May-17-2022 was able to linke the application (yay) BC is in process

Yes. It is good to get the police certificates. They may ask for it soon. You can see the timeline for our pcc request in my signature

anyone know what happened to my application
i applied for my parents PR on december -06-2022, untill yesterday i can check permanent residence portal and able to click on view application.it was showing application submitted.
but today when i sign in there is nothing, shows only start new application ,where does my application go, any idea ?

I received medical request.

mississauga LVO will use a template to ask for all docs when sending out sponsor approval. other LVOs use their own template and may not include those reminders. but wherever your file is at, you will receive another doc request if they need sth from you.

The documents supplied has again been asked for.

i didnot receive any message,did you contact ircc about your account?, can you c your application status now? did you receive medical request after your account disapper?

No. I didn't request anybody. I received medical request along with sponsorship approval letter.
