VRT for research internship, applied in France

1st application on IRCC portal
Application Submission: March 1
Confirmation of Application submission: March 1
Biometrics Collection Letter: March 3
Biometrics appointment: March 4
No update during 70 days (normal processing time in France is 35 days)
Biometrics validity letter: May 13
withdraw : may 14

I re-apply on Gckey
Application Submission: may 9
Confirmation of Application submission: may 9
Eligibility start review : may 10
Biometrics validity letter: may 13
Original Passport Request (Visa approval): May 14 (in the letter it was dated may 13)

I've raised a lot of webform, no response until the last webform on may 12 where I request an emergency treatment of my application because my internship start on may 23 and my flight is on may 20. They answer may 13 that my request is send to the agent responsible for my application. 1 hour after, I got the BVL

Me too. No updates. I raised a lot of webforms. Mailed them too but no reply. My bio metrics was done and updated on March 13.

I didn't withdraw it, IRCC didn't consider it anymore after I re-apply with another application

why did you decide to switch portals? i m in the same boat as u but my first application is from gckey portal and its been 10 months i haven't received a decision so i am thinking of reapplying from iirc portal. i am wondering if u abandoned ircc portal, then is there something wrong with it or not.

my application in ircc portal didn't move for 70days. the study of eligibility even not started (I thought I made some mistake in the forms or there are missing docs)
So I decided to re-apply with gc-key (I submitted my flight ticket).

I have applied for my parents visa on March 27th still have not heard any update (apart from bimetrics completed).

I want to apply for my inlaws and me and my wife will be sponsor again on this application. Is it okay or should I wait till my parents visa gets cleared?
