Can we merge 3-4 files in one or we submit all documents in individual file.
I did one pdf (all documents in one + explaination letter)but make sure the file size is not more than 5GB. It is mention in the letter.
I includ explantion letter with explantion that XXXX documents I am not able to provide it.

No this is not ghost email. In ghost email it mention that your permanent residence application status has been updated on on your IRCC permanent residence portal account. But when you go to account nothing change.
