12 months ? wow. I thought they follow the processing time of the original submission to Mississauga which has been already 22 months

I received my medical request today. I am going to take care of it tomorrow and hopefully the doctor will send the results to IRCC within 2 weeks.
Here is the timeline:
Application received: May 31, 2021
AOR: June 23, 2021
Processing started: December 6, 2021
Form IMMimm5669e request: March 3, responded to the the same day
Medical request: May 11, 2022

Hi guys I may be wrong but I just think when you apply for PR online, it's faster than the one of paper. Because I applied since 2020 January and have been stocked on fingerprints since 2021 February nothing else since then. Meanwhile some people applied 2021 and got their PR. Or did someone just trashed my file somewhere and forgot about it, this is so frustrating.

I don’t think so. A lot of people here also applied in paper and they have either gotten their PR or making progress. Your situation, at 26 months, is clearly over the average processing time and you’re entitled to get worried. You can order GCMS notes. You can also use the webform to inquire why from IRCC or even call them. Unless you have an idea of what is holding your case and you’re working on it. I still wish you all the best.

I saw a ghost update yesterday and I called IRCC...They said my eligibility, medical, security, info sharing and criminality was all passed....I am wondering how long before final decision is made and I get my PR..My timeline is:

AOR : April 2021
Started processing application : July 2021
