I am on study permit, and i have applied my spousal work permit and got refusal. Reasons for refusal were weak ties in India and weak financials provided.

So what funds did you show above the funds you showed for getting your study permit? Her ties are family (child), investments, property and job with leave. When does your permit expire?

For me I didn’t show anything instead of My GIC and just paid my fee only,, and for her i showed some bank statements from India.
She is working and living with my family.
my study permit will be expire in December 2022

So you didn’t show any new funds that you can support her coming to Canada? That is an issue. So she works for your family so she has no ties to return to India. How long have you been married. With long processing you can reapply with more funds and stronger ties. However, if your permit expires within 6 months she is not eligible and better to wait until you have PGWP with skilled job and 3 paystubs. SOWP is not guaranteed.

Hi,

I am Currently on pgwp and i recently got married. I have a Noc A job (software dev) and i applied sowp for my wife(outland)

She is a make up artist but has no proof to show that since she kinda works for herself.

Do i need to write a letter to show intent to return back to homw country after her permit expires?

And if i do, what do I need to put in the letter? She does not have proof of employment and no land on her name.

She has no family apart from me in Canada.
