‘‘If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:

  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
  • it is not for the country where you currently live’.

If i were you, i would have submitted the old PCC from India as there is no change in travel history.
For peace of mind, would add a LOE, mentioning, the updated PCC from India would be submitted upon request.
Good luck.
Thank you. I will proceed as per your advise. Hoping for the best.

Hi All,

I'm feeling led to create a community of new immigrants. This group has and is giving me so much, and has made me believe this world to be a better place.
Each one of us got here to help one another, this group gave me hope when I had none at all, and literally met some God sent people.

I know for many it's PPR, then COPR, and landing. But then, what? How to sustain your life in Canada? Does one need to start from scratch? How to find a job? Make a living? Everything before and everything in between.
I am not even sure if what I'm proposing is going to be a success, but it's a worth a try. We can reunite through the below group and offer support to each other even after we land.

I'm adding a link below, so you can join if you want to be part of this community.

Just my way of giving back to the community who has given me so much that not mere words can explain.

God bless you all.

This might be kind of surprising, but if biometrics are used to do criminality checks, I just gave the biometrics on 26th Feb and today my criminality was passed according to the agent!

That is quite the speed :p

How long does security screening take for outland applicants? This question might sound silly, but if I have never travelled internationally, how long can I expect the security screening to last(and would it be any faster compared to others who have travelled internationally)?
Hello folks,
As updated in my signature, I finally got my PPR :D

My turn to share the good news. Received the "Ready for Visa" email yesterday. Shipped out the courier parcel to receive the CoPR to Ottawa today.
Made a longer post in the FSW Worldwide thread. Another "August 2020 AOR" off the list.
