No, IRCC doesn't give less weightage to one.

Have you taken both? They are different tests with different scoring systems.

@scylla - I have already attemptted CELPIP and submitted my EE profile but then i tried to put ILETS in language test taken for CRS (to check if there is some difference, because i expected my score 460-467 but now its less 363 )which changed my score. Currenly there is a difference of 97 points CELPIP vs ILTES . my CELPIP score is 8,7,8,7.

What is your IELTS score? It sounds like you scored lower on your IELTS test.

So if you have not taken the IELTS test then how can you change your profile?
