Bring a spouse over to Canada when on a PGWP

Hello everyone,

I am on PGWP and I have accumulated the one year work experience for CEC. I am getting to married by August 2022 and I would like to know which would be the best way to bring my spouse over:

1. She has a cousin who is a PR who can give her an invitation letter. She can apply for a TRV before the marriage and accompany me when I return. Then we can apply for PR together.
2. Apply for a TRV post marriage using my letter of invitation and apply for PR together
3. Apply for a spousal work permit post marriage. This seems to take about 6 months now. Then I apply for my PR and sponsor her while she is here.

Can people with some expertise help me out as to which would be the best option if coming her asap is the goal rather than beginning work here?

Does she have previous travel to countries requiring visas such as Canada, the US or UK? Does she have strong ties to her home country (e.g. employment, property ownership)? Does she have enough money to cover the costs of her visit to Canada? If so, then by all means go with option #1. If not, then I would go with either #2 or #3.

3. She has enough proof of funds and her cousin can supplement it with his funds
4. I am planning to add return flight tickets as I've heard that that would further strengthen her case

Okay, I think I'll proceed with option #1 then. After coming here, she can extend her stay as a visitor in Canada if she has either a spousal work permit or a PR application under processing, correct?

#1 - This will significantly weaken her application.
#2 - That is good. What other ties can she show?
#3 - She should show she has enough funds without any help from her cousin.
#4 - Do not buy tickets before the visa is approved. This does not strengthen the application. You can show a planned itinerary but don't buy the actual tickets.

#2 - She has her family (parents and siblings here) who she has to support. Apart from that I'm not sure what to show to strengthen her ties to home country.
#3 - She has a good income. But, can her parents (in home country) additionally support her using their funds?
#4 - I was basing this on what I heard from some consultants. Okay, I'll prepare an itinerary without buying the tickets.
