Medical Exam Exemption for Inland Foreign Nationals (Temporary Policy)

Hi, did anyone here try submitting their old medical exam for PR application of inland applicant and passed?

The temporary policy by IRCC gave exemption to inland applicants applying for PR not to take another medical exam as long as applicant have old medical within 5 years, and have not left canada.

I’m sure I’m eligible for this but IRCC asked me for remeds. Any possibility that it’s an error?

I thought this public policy ended March 31, 2022. Did they extend it again?

Yes it ended March 31, 2022.

However I submitted my application March 1, 2022. They sent the medical request yesterday, April 27.

The medical exam is really expensive here in Canada, and my old medical was only done in October 2020. I never left Canada since I came last year, Feb 2021.

That’s why It’s weird for me that they’re asking for remeds when they have that policy posted.
